Overview:
Are you skilled at creating functional, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that incorporate beautiful furniture design? We are looking for a creative Furniture Interior Designer who can blend interior design principles with furniture styling to enhance residential and commercial spaces. In this role, you will design interiors that not only look good but also serve the practical needs of our clients, focusing on furniture arrangement, color schemes, and decorative items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of their space.
- Develop and present design proposals using CAD software and 3D modeling tools to create visual layouts of designed spaces.
- Select furniture, fixtures, decor, and finishes while keeping within budgetary constraints.
- Manage the entire design process from conceptualization to the placement of furniture.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and architects to ensure alignment with the design plan.
- Supervise the installation of furniture and furnishings, ensuring that the design specifications are met.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and advancements in furniture design to provide the best options for clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, Furniture Designer, or similar role with a strong portfolio of design projects.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent sense of design and visual composition.
- Effective communication skills necessary to interact with clients, vendors, and design teams.
- A good understanding of color and form, practical space planning skills, and knowledge of furnishings and materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field, along with relevant certifications.
